They are looking for this person to join the Growing team of Cognos consultants in the DC area.

| Responsible for the technical ownership of the data warehouse and related products. Primary responsibilities are development, architecture and design of Cognos Solutions | |
Qualifications: | |
| Qualifications:
US Citizen
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or MIS required
8+ years of relevant work experience with database management, data warehousing and architecture.
5+ years of database programming or database administration experience
3+ years of experience in Cognos's product suite
Skills:
1. Must have strong understanding and experience in Data Management, Modeling, Administration, Architecture, and Warehousing. Experience with OLAP Application and Data Base Development & Implementation at the logical and physical level is required. Experience with E.Piphany is strongly preferred, but not required.
2. Strong database and SQL coding experience including database performance and tuning in a large data base operational environment.
3. Designed and installed Cognos- ReportNet, PowerPlay, Visualizer, DecisionStream
4. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build constructive working relationships with Technology Management personnel and Marketing professionals.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Commitment to quality with attention to detail.
7. Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills.
