Job Description: | |
| Candidates will be responsible for:
(1) Designing and developing reports and reporting frameworks.
(2) Analyzing business reporting requirements and translating them into reports.
(3) Executing proof-of-concept on reporting framework.
(4) Establishing reporting templates/reusable components for report development.

Qualifications: | |
| REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Expert knowledge of Business Objects reporting tools: designer, reporting (full-client, WebIntelligence), Broadcast Agent; detailed design and analysis capability.
- Must have 4+ years of hands-on experience with Business Objects reporting tools.
- Experience using BO 6.5 fat client and BO XI highly desirable.
- Knowledge and practical experience with Business Objects Universe Designer is required; analyzing reporting requirements and translating them into reports.
- Experience creating complex reports using Business Objects for top and mid level executives.
- Must have solid SQL programming skills including data extraction and manipulation, and understand Multi Dimensional data models.
- Experience using BO's Rapid Deployment Templates and Analysis is desirable.
PREFERABLE EXPERIENCE:
- Data warehousing environment
- Knowledge of dimensional models
- Experience with ETL tools
- Strong experience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL and Perl
- WebI SDK skills
- Some experience with JSP/Java/J2EE development

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate successfully with business and technical customers, and other team members.
