| Job Description: Pre-Sales SE candidates must exhibit a high degree of professionalism, customer service, and enthusiasm. Your 7+ years demonstrated and applicable experience will qualify you to be responsible for delivering high level presentations and demonstrations, while assisting the sales organization in the completion of the sales cycle. Responsibilities include staying current on emerging technology, speaking about my clients solutions at company sponsored events and understanding the customers business and how the proposed my clients solution will meet or exceed their critical success factors. | |
Qualifications: | |
| • Minimum 5 years of technology experience
• Minimum 5 years business experience with relevant computer applications
• Minimum 2 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience
• BS Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• Proven pre-sales experience
• Excellent proven presentation skills
• Knowledge of object oriented design & programming, UML, and JAVA.
• A breadth of experience with J2EE, J2SE, and XML technologies
• Previous experience with application development tools like Forte or NEXT, integrations tools from webMethods, See Beyond or Tibco, Portal experience from BEA, Oracle, or any workflow tools like Handisoft, Vitria, Versata
• Knowledge of database technologies to include specific experience with Oracle, SQL Server and/or IBM DB2.
• General knowledge of enterprise application architectures, disaster recovery and business continuity principles.
• Must be a US CITIZEN clearable or have an Active TS/SCI clearance
• Early stage software company background helpful
